Our team is excited about the latest update and features release that’s guaranteed to make Kubity even better!
We strive to create easy-to-use tools for SketchUp and Revit users; giving you the flexibility to conceptualize models and design with an immersed and realistic experience.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s new…
Virtual Reality: Magic Window
Version: 1.1.5 Requires Android 4.4 and up
Magic Window, is a cool new glasses-free VR feature that allows you to view 360° content without a VR headset. Real-time VR from any device, where ever, whenever you want in the simple click of a button.
Not only that, but we’ve also changed our look and feel a bit, plus added a new settings panel. We brought back Gaze & Go ‘teleportation’ and created a new and improved interface that includes height adjustment for a more realistic VR experience.

If you’re already using VR, make sure you have the latest update, then click on settings to enable these features.
Get Kubity VR in the App Store and Google Play.
Augmented Reality for Android
Version 1.2.1 Requires Android 7.0 and up
Kubity’s dedicated Augmented Reality app, Kubity AR, was first launched for iPhone and iPad. Now, Android users can get in on the fun, too! The companion app takes SketchUp and Revit beyond the screen by blending digital objects and information with the environment around you.
You can present in A3 or 1:1 scale with true-to-life representation of textures, lighting, and shadows in the palm of your hand.
Kubity AR is a great on-the-go solution for visualizing models onsite, and helps you build smarter by placing models in real-world locations. You can also place a model onto printed construction plans to present project development over time or take your model straight from your pocket to the conference room table in seconds. The possibilities are endless!

We’ve also released an updated version for iPhone and iPad users (version 1.2) that now allows you to scan any surface to easily place your model.
You’ll also notice we’ve improved our interface and increased stability for better viewing and manipulation of placement.
To use the app on Android and iPhone/iPad:
1. Ensure you have Kubity Go installed first. If not, get it on the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the 3D model you want to see in AR from Kubity Go, click AR.
3. Make sure the surface your scanning is well lit.
4. Scan a surface by pointing your device down. Move the device up and down, left and right, then forward and backward.
5. Place your model and start exploring!
Screen Mirroring
Easily sync your smartphone or tablet to a model and control it from your device. Read all about how to give big screen presentations of your 3D models here.
